I also offer commentary on the communications industry in areas where I have deep experience in delivering results and – every now and then – discuss strategies and tactics content development, PR and social media teams might be able to leverage to beef up their own proactive campaigns and SEO programs.
I provide organizations with highly experienced short- and long-term market research, project management, strategic positioning and writing support. I specialize in positioning initiatives, people, products and organizations in regional, national and international markets.
I’ve worked on content development, editorial, integrated strategic communications and market research programs with developer, marketing and technology teams from some of the world’s most recognized brands including Aetna, American Express, AT&T, BMW, General Motors, Google, HP, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, National Australia Bank (NAB), Nokia, NTT, Oracle, RSA, SAP and Wells Fargo.
I have a great deal of experience working with SMBs, as well as with a wide range of arts, educational, government and nonprofit organizations.
Over the past decade or so, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some incredible teams to position a wide range of initiatives and executives at the forefront of some of the most important trends in the digital identity management, security, privacy, sustainable ICT, mobile application quality, big data, data center and enterprise cloud sectors.
I’m currently working on positioning a wide range of edge, fog and digital transformation initiatives, including many of the technologies and some of the organizations that are helping to drive the Industry 4.0 revolution.
I bring a unique global perspective to every client engagement. This is because my work has had me based in London, New York and Paris where I’ve worked on strategic programs for clients positioning in international markets, and where I gained invaluable experience in managing communications programs across geographies and continents.
I was honored to be asked to participate as an expert in global communications for PR Newswire’s first-ever webcast focused on communicating across cultures, and I regularly present on best practices for global integrated communications to audiences around the world.
I frequently serve as the external face and social media voice of the organizations and initiatives I support. Just as frequently, I work behind the scenes with influencers and communities to provide clients with a wide range of communications and positioning results.
I have a BA in communications and marketing from Central Connecticut State University and an MFA from Parsons School of Design in New York City.
I grew up in Connecticut and lived and worked in the Hartford area until I left the state to finish my graduate degree at Parsons, and to take on a global research and writing project at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I’m currently based in New York City.
